Biography

Growing Up

I grew up playing baseball, hiking, fishing, and helping on his grandfather's farm in rural Pennsylvania. During high school and college, I worked in construction and in factories.

​

Realizing that one of my greatest passions is to understand what makes people truly happy as individuals and in relationships, I studied Philosophy, Theology, Social Work, and Marriage and Family Counseling.

 

My education and life experience have given me a deep appreciation for Catholic and Protestant faith traditions, for the values and beauty present in all faiths, and for the insights gained by research and study in the Human Sciences.
